# Alliance of Concerned Men

> Washington, D.C. community-based nonprofit using a village approach to eradicate violence through conflict resolution, prevention, intervention, Credible Messenger mentoring, and wrap-around services for at-risk youth, families, and returning citizens.

The Alliance of Concerned Men (ACM) follows a quality-of-life public safety model focused on reduction, mitigation, and prevention of violence. Founded in 1991, ACM has a 30+ year track record serving vulnerable communities in the nation’s capital. Staff and volunteers mentor at-risk youth and families, providing a network of services to more than 7,000 individuals every month.

ACM engages returning citizens who complete ACM training, along with faith leaders, grassroots groups, and community partners, to meet people where they are and build peace in disenfranchised neighborhoods. Tagline: “Saving lives and impacting the community every day.”
