MLK’s Impact

True Transformation

The legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. lives on in the hearts and minds of Americans as a pivotal agent of change in our nation’s history. In the wake of his devastating assassination, Tyrone Parker responded in anguish and anger. However, after reacting to this grief through rioting, and consequently serving a prison sentence, Parker experienced a truly MLK-inspired transformation. He worked with his friends from high school to begin the Alliance of Concerned Men, an empowering and uplifting organization dedicated to changing narratives in their community through talking, listening, and caring.
